WHO ARE WE?
FOMS is a non-profit organization of parents, students, teachers, and other members of the Shenendehowa community who feel that music is a vital part of a student’s educational and social development.
WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
We support the Shenendehowa Music Program to enhance the experience of all our student musicians.
WHAT DO WE DO?
· Help students pay their fees for the All-State music conferences.
· Give scholarships to two graduating seniors.
· Provide financial support to the All-district Jazz Festival.
· Organize volunteers for concerts and festivals.
· Organize and host a Day of Music Workshops.
· Give music letters and pins to music students that belong to the Tri-M Music Honor Society.
· Give flowers for graduating senior to wear to their last concerts.
· Sell refreshments at the HS musical and provide water for the cast, orchestra, and crew.
· Share information about the music program, music events, and accomplishments of our student musicians.

Shen music magnets for sale |

Shen music car magnets (4"x6" oval) are now for sale for $5. Look for the magnets and t-shirts at all middle and high school concerts. T-shirts come in sizes S, M, L, and XL and cost $10.

Please become a member of Friends of Music of Shenendehowa (FOMS). Our main source of revenue is membership fees, which are tax deductible. Go to the menu above to find the FOMS membership form or pay using on-line banking (instructions are on the membership form).
Look for our table at the middle and high school concerts throughout the year. We will have membership forms and we'll be selling Shen Music t-shirts ($10 each in sizes S, M, L, XL).
The next FOMS meeting is on Wednesday, January 4 at 7 p.m. in the High School East satellite cafeteria (next to the large auditorium). |

The Friends of Music Board of Directors is comprised of the Executive Board (4 officers), the Academic Administrator, and the president of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and up to five additional members. Three members were recently elected by the FOMS membership: Ryan Pangburn (teacher), Joseph Kott (teacher), and Mary Duclos (parent). The first meeting of the Board will be in early January.
